A Proven Progressive Leader Ready to Deliver for District 25
Antoine Thompson knows what it means to fight for opportunity.
Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Antoine attended public schools and saw firsthand how government programs and community investment could open doors for working families. As a child, he benefited from the federal Head Start program and free lunch programs from pre-K through high school. He earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport through the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) for socially and economically disadvantaged students.
Those early experiences shaped his belief that public service means fighting for people who are too often overlooked. Antoine credits his education, family, village, faith, and a lot of prayer for propelling him from poverty to a life of public and community service.
Antoine built his career turning that belief into action.
Since moving to Prince George’s County in 2015, Antoine Thompson has built deep relationships and become a trusted, engaged member of the community. Currently, he is CEO & Executive Director of the Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition, advocating daily for cleaner transportation, environmental justice, and workforce development in the green economy across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He is a dedicated member of the South County Democratic Club, where he serves as Fundraising Officer, and a partner with his wife Tracey, at Creative PMO Solutions, a consulting firm focused on diversity, inclusion, workforce development, project management, and public affairs. Antoine is also a licensed Maryland real estate agent with eXp Realty, helping families build stability and opportunity through homeownership.
Antoine serves on the Boards of Directors for Transportation Energy Partners, and Housing Options & Planning Enterprises, reflecting his commitment to sustainable infrastructure and housing equity. A man of faith, he is an active member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden, where he serves in the First Touch Ministry. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., 100 Black Men of Prince George’s County, and a Silver Life Member of the NAACP.
Above all, Antoine is a devoted husband to Tracey Thompson and a loving father to Deja Middlebrooks and Joseph Thompson. Faith and family are at the center of everything he does—and they guide his commitment to service every day.
