Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church Will Install 97 kW Rooftop Solar PV System Using Green Bank PPA Product
Bradley Hills Church approached the Green Bank after attending the joint webinar, Summer Solstice, presented by Interfaith Power & Light and the Green Bank in June of 2021. Many faith based organizations attended that webinar and have engaged with the Green Bank to get solar financed in a third party arrangement. As a result, Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church is installing 97 kW of solar PV energy on the roof using the Commercial Solar Power Purchase Agreement of Skyview Ventures and the Green Bank. The solar PV will produce 112,708 kWh of clean, renewable solar energy throughout the first twelve months of use.Over the next 20 years, the solar PV, which will be installed by Aurora Energy, will avoid the consumption of 2,153,018 kWh of energy not sourced from the local utility provider, mitigating 1,526 metric tons of carbon dioxide, greenhouse gas emissions. These energy savings will lead to a projected savings of $54,180 over 20 years in reduced electricity bills for the church.
