Grant Opportunity

The Arbor Day Foundation, a global nonprofit inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees, is a recipient of grant funding from the USDA Forest Service Urban & Community Forestry Program, under the Inflation Reduction Act and serves as a national pass-through partner of the Forest Service. Community-based nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for Community Roots Program funding for tree planting and maintenance, planning, and capacity building. Recipients will have access to a cohort of peers and experts within the Arbor Day Foundation and the Urban and Community Forestry Society networks and connect with mentors/coaches from around the nation. Subaward range: $100,000 to $1M, over a 3-year period, depending on scope of work, unique needs, and capabilities of the applicant. California Power Saver Rewards

In keeping with our mission to help protect the environment and keep our members informed, Green The Church California is partnering with a program called Power Saver Rewards. Community members can benefit from this statewide program that gives people money back on their electric bill in the form of a bill credit when they reduce energy use during a Flex Alert.
