Glen Manor Condominium Installs 74.8 kW Solar PV System
Glen Manor Condominium Association, a small garden-style complex in Silver Spring, MD, installed a 74.8 kW rooftop solar PV system. This project was installed by Solar Energy World and is being managed under a Power Purchase Agreement with Skyview Ventures.
The system will generate 76,335 kWh of clean energy annually, preventing the consumption of 1,526,700 kWh over 20 years and avoiding 1,020 metric tons of CO2 emissions. This significant reduction in energy use is projected to save the building $153,940 in electricity costs over two decades, highlighting both long-term savings and a positive environmental impact.
