2024 CYCLE I GRANT OPPORTUNITIES NOW OPEN
HumanitiesDC is excited to announce our upcoming 2024 grant cycles and funding opportunities! Cycle I RFPs and applications are open and include our Community Culture and Heritage, Visions, DC Oral History Collaborative and Beyond the Archive grant opportunities.
COMMUNITY CULTURE AND HERITAGE
An opportunity for DC residents and groups to capture and share the culture and narratives of their own communities through public humanities projects.
Award: $10,000
DC ORAL HISTORY COLLABORATIVE + EXTENSIONS
Funding, training and support for organizations and individuals interested in conducting oral history projects; also open to Collaborative grantees to extend their projects. Award: $8,000
BEYOND THE ARCHIVES
Funding and resources for organizations and individuals interested in using existing oral history collections to produce public humanities projects.
Award: $12,000
VISIONS PROJECTS + EVENTS
Support for non-profit organizations towards creating or sustaining innovative interpretations of humanities scholarship for the public.
Award: $25,000
