Last week, we shared a great story of how community solar is reaching some of the most energy burdened folks: serving “resident owned communities” in New Hampshire. Sometimes called mobile home parks, the land in these residential neighborhoods is owned by its residents and their energy costs are high.

Along with the state’s community solar program, the New Hampshire’s Community Loan Fund has helped develop projects to slash energy costs with clean energy projects built in resident owned communities. It’s a great success story of local clean energy!

Keep your energy local,
John

P.S. ILSR’s Independent Business Initiative outlined planning and land use policies that support locally-owned businesses.
