RFP: CRM & Grant Management Software
The Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide a Customer Relationship Management and grant management software product to be used for the Solar for All grant program. The selected firm will ensure that the software product(s) will adequately manage all aspects of grant administration, including client and stakeholder engagement, finance, origination, eligibility requirements, and marketing and outreach communications.
Proposals are due April 8, 2025, with a tentative award date of June 10, 2025.

Maryland General Assembly: Crossover Day
March 17th marked the Maryland General Assembly’s annual crossover day, the deadline for the House of Delegates and Senate to exchange legislation for consideration by the opposite chamber. Hundreds of pieces of legislation crossed over, including dozens of bills related to clean energy with the potential to impact decarbonization efforts in Maryland. MEIA Attends National Innovation Conference
In March, our colleagues from the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator (MEIA), a program of MCEC, attended the 2025 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in Washington, D.C. Joining leaders in science, industry, capital investments, and government, the team had the opportunity to demonstrate how MEIA is contributing to decarbonization efforts through climate technology innovation in Maryland. Hack for the Climate
FSC First and MEIA, a program of MCEC, are partnering to host the Prince George’s Climate Tech Hackathon on May 3, 2025, at the Innovation Station Business Incubator. Join a squad of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers to tackle real climate challenges in Prince George’s County for the chance to win $900 in cash prizes! The event is open to high School and college students, early-career pros, entrepreneurs, and anyone with big ideas for climate solutions.
